If you follow the blog at all you are sure to recognize these two guys! Jens and Hayden returned, this time with Mom and Dad, for a few family pictures in time for the holidays!
Two busy boys equal….
This sums things up quite well!
So innocent!
You will be able to tell by a few images of Creighten and his parents that these weren’t taken lately! The blog suffered a little neglect while I busy with completing sessions, cards, and orders before the holidays.
I was so glad to be able to photograph this little guy and his parents. His dad and my husband have been friends since they were little boys. It was fun getting to know Scott and Ashley, watch them get married, have a baby, and now watching the little guy grow!
These pictures are so appropriate for this family…reading cattle magazines!

As co-workers Christine and Justin certainly knew each other. But it took a trip to a concert in another town out of their work environment for Christine to notice something about Justin. She saw him dancing and after that insisted that he teach her how. They say that after one night of dance lessons the rest is history!
Christine and Justin, you are such a wonderful couple! It has been great getting to know you and I look forward to spending your special day with you documenting your love. And I will be expecting to see those dance lessons put to use in May!
I love when clients have their own ideas of something they want to do during their session. Christine and Justin had this great idea about an image of their boots. I think we all love how the image turned out!

It’s so great to have a family picture with everyone in it! Grandma decided that she wanted the family picture at their home. We had such a great setting with their beautiful potting sheds in the backyard. I am so glad that I could capture these images for the Skogen family.
And all of the little girls! Even Gucci, the dog, joined in and posed for us!
I was asked to capture the beauty of the Skogen’s potting sheds at dusk. These buildings are breathtaking when they are lit up with all of the gorgeous flowers around them. I enjoyed creating these images and loved so many of them it was hard to choose which to show!
This family made a trip over to the studio for some new family portraits! Little Oliver recently had turned 1 and so we also captured a few of him at this milestone! Reagan is such a good big sister! She’s so helpful with her little brother and made getting a picture of the two of them quite a bit easier since she can hold on tight to the fast mover! Thanks Dana and Mike for bringing your family to me to be photographed! I sure enjoyed the time spent with you all!

And her very FAST little brother, Oliver! He moved so quickly that before I could even get a picture of him he was running past me and the light, so dad had to help us contain him!
Love this shirt on Oliver! His family loves restoring tractors so of course he has to have his Oliver tractor shirt!
A special thank you to Grandpa Leon for helping with the session! These kids love their grandpa and he sure helped us getting smiles!

These two little cuties made a visit all of the way from Arizona this summer with their mom (my cousin)! It was great seeing them again as the distance causes us to only see each other about once a year.
This was the first time meeting little Lynde for all of our family and she is such a sweet baby! Since her mom and I look quite a bit alike she warmed right up to me! Diesel is growing so much and each time I see him he changes so much!

If you follow my blog at all you’ve seen these two little guys quite a bit. I’ve been able to document Hayden’s first year and we topped the year off with a birthday celebration! He certainly enjoyed the cake and being able to do what ever he chose to do with it! Big brother, Jens, headed off to preschool this year and boy, has he grown up quickly since school started! It sure is fun to watch them grow!

These two kids came in for pictures shortly after their 4th and 2nd birthdays! Of course with most little girls they LOVE to be in front of the camera and it was no different with Olivia! And with any two-year old boy it took a little coaxing before we ended up with some great pictures of him too! After getting to know Olivia and Noah’s parents on the golf course it was nice to finally meet the rest of the family! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family!

Rory came to me for her one year pictures! Boy, is she going to be a heartbreaker with those big blue eyes! She was such a sweet little girl and so much fun to photograph.
Of course we had to have a mini birthday celebration!

Some may recognize Pylar from a past post. She is one of my younger cousins who was kind enough to be my model for a day! We spent the day playing in the studio trying out new things and then headed to her family farm!

I could not help but share so many pictures of Jayda. She grew up less than a mile down the road from me so I have known her forever! I was extremely honored when she and her mom chose me to be her senior photographer, especially since it required a 300-mile trip to visit the studio!
LeAnn (Mom) – I know you didn’t want many pictures to make your decision more difficult, but that’s what happens when you have such a gorgeous daughter!
Jayda-It has been fun watching you grow up and I had a great time photographing you. I wish you the best of luck during your senior year and choosing a college for next year.
